Valentines Evening at The Bakers Arms

For the night of Friday the 14th February 2020, the Bakers Arms will be providing a Valentine’s Evening menu.
The time is fast approaching, so please book early to enjoy your relaxed,
intimate dining experience.

To Start:

Homemade beetroot soup, coconut hearts
Ham hock terrine, cured meats, piccalilly, olives, homemade focaccia (to share)
Roasted peppers, marinated artichokes, houmous, manchego, toasted pitta (to share)
Fresh steamed mussels, garlic tomatoes, white wine, cream
Scallops with Stornoway black pudding, orange sauce (£4.00 supplement)
Twice baked gruyere and Cheddar soufflé, basil oil

Main Courses:

Côte de boeuf (to share) lemon and herb butter, crispy shallots, roasted new potatoes, watercress and tomato salad (£8 per person supplement)

Breast of guinea fowl, mushroom sauce, crispy pancetta
Breast of duck, confit bonbon, celeriac purée, orange sauce
Monkfish and king prawn curry, Asian style rice
Pan-fried fillet of red mullet, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, bouillabaisse sauce
Butternut squash, mushroom and walnut Wellington, beetroot purée
