Christmas 2019
Whether it’s for friends or colleagues, our Christmas menu is designed to work well for groups. This is a pre-ordered menu only and is available from Saturday the 1st December until Saturday the 22nd of December. By making your choices in advance, all you have to do is look forward to your evening.
This menu is available as a two course option on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening only, throughout December at £23.50 per head.
£15 per head deposit required for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Payment in full required for Friday and Saturday.

To start:
Homemade leek and potato soup
Mushrooms in a brandy and cream sauce on toasted sourdough, crispy pancetta
Goat’s cheese tartlet with red onion and sultana marmalade, balsamic reduction
Melon with Parma ham and winter spiced marinated figs
Smoked salmon with brown bread and butter, capers, lemon wedge
To follow:
Slow-cooked pork belly with pear and apple sauce, cider jus
Breast of corn-fed chicken, chestnut stuffing, sausage wrapped in bacon, redcurrant jus
Game casserole with red wine and thyme, honey roast parsnips
Filleted Catch of the Day with lemon and caper butter sauce
Asian spiced vegetable curry with basmati rice (v)
The above are served with fresh vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes
