Our Festive Menu

Whether it’s for friends or colleagues, our Christmas menu, designed to work well for groups, is available from Friday the 1st of December until Saturday 23rd December. By making your choices in advance, all you have to do is look forward to your evening.

Christmas menu 2017

To start:

Homemade leek and potato soup

Bakers Arms coarse paté with chutney and toast

Goat’s cheese tartlet with red onion and sultana marmalade, balsamic reduction

Seafood platter of poached salmon, smoked salmon and prawn cocktail

Wild mushrooms on toasted focaccia

To follow:

Slow-cooked pork belly with pear, apple and cinnamon sauce, cider jus

Breast of corn-fed chicken, chestnut stuffing, sausage wrapped in bacon, redcurrant jus

Breast of Gressingham duck, honey-roast parsnips, orange and star anise reduction

Filleted Catch of the Day with a smoked salmon and caper butter sauce

Roasted butternut squash filled with harissa-spiced vegetables and feta (v)

The above are served with fresh vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes

Choices from the sweet menu on the night (included in price).

Tea and coffee extra.
£27.00 per head

This menu is available as a two course option on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening only, throughout December at £21.00 per head.

£15 per head deposit required for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Payment in full required for Friday and Saturday.
